Snowshoe Club

The Hardy Hikers Snowshoe Club convenes every Wednesday at 3 PM, providing an opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to engage in snowshoeing across various scenic locations within the Sheboygan 7 Manitowoc county. This group is designed to accommodate individuals of all skill levels, fostering a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced snowshoers alike.

Participants are encouraged to join regardless of snow conditions, as outings will proceed as scheduled. In the event of a cancellation, notifications will be posted by noon on the day of the outing, both on our website and the Ecology Outfitters Snowshoe Facebook page. This ensures that all members are informed in a timely manner, allowing for proper planning.

For those who do not possess their own snowshoes, options are available through Ecology Outfitters. The store offers snowshoes for sale, as well as a limited number of rental units at a nominal fee of $10.00. Individuals interested in renting snowshoes are advised to make reservations by calling or texting 920-242-8053. Reservations can be made up to two hours prior to the scheduled outing, ensuring that all participants have the necessary equipment for an enjoyable experience.

The schedule of events will be posted on out facebook page along with our web page to reflect the locations and specific details of each outing. Participants are encouraged to check the facebook page frequently to stay informed about upcoming snowshoeing adventures. This initiative not only promotes physical activity but also enhances community engagement and appreciation for the natural beauty of Sheboygan & Manitowoc County.

In summary, the Snowshoe Club (Hardy Hikers) offers a structured yet flexible approach to outdoor recreation, emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility. Whether you are a seasoned snowshoer or a newcomer, you are welcome to join us for an invigorating experience in the great outdoors.
